TouchDIVER provides full haptic feedback in digital and XR experiences
The glove includes three actuation points that stimulate the fingers involved in the gripping actions, and it fits both right and left hand. User’s finger tracking – a key element to reproduce the movements in VR while they happen in the physical world – is achieved through an innovative technology integrated into the device. This is coupled with a digital model of the human hand that reflects the movements recorded by the device. The glove also includes an SDK for integration with major development platforms like Unity and Unreal Engine, and it is compatible with various controllers, such as Meta (Oculus Quest), Pico, HTC Vive, Windows Mixed Reality and more, ensuring unified tracking across platforms.
A unique haptic glove for VR safety and industrial training
TouchDIVER’s unique capability to replicate lifelike touch in digital and VR experiences makes it specifically suitable for safety and industrial training simulations. While HMD controllers remain appropriate for certain applications where hand presence and fine motor skills play a minor role, touch plays a fundamental role in enhancing the effectiveness of the training.
By leveraging full haptic feedback provided by TouchDIVER haptic glove, trainees can enter a superior level of realism. Tasks, movements, procedures become lifelike, while being carried out in risk-free environments. The device accelerates the learning curves in the learning process, and it also helps reduce education and training costs, since there is no need for physical materials or equipment. In addition, it provides an immersive experience that makes learning fun and engaging while improving retention rates.
