News for developers!
We are excited to announce significant updates to our SDK, now supporting cross-platform development for both Android and PC Windows. This unified SDK simplifies project workflows and enhances compatibility with headsets such as Meta Quest, HTC and Pico, and extends support from Unity 2019 to 2022 for an easy integration into both new and legacy projects. Enhanced hand physics provide more realistic interactions, and our open-source low-level API is now available on GitHub for community contributions. Additionally, our new Python SDK version and streamlined Middleware optimize the development process across diverse environments and applications.
It is now possible to develop also for standalone Meta Quest, Pico and HTC headsets, which will communicate directly with TouchDIVER’s built-in Bluetooth, thus making the experience portable and easy to use everywhere. As usual, all standalone experiences can be bimanual as in all our environments.
A porting of the low-level SDK to Python has been developed to facilitate the integration of WEART technology into new development environments and different applications.
The new Middleware is now capable of maintaining and managing WEART’s TouchDIVER, TouchKEY, and Haptic Totem using the same application, optimizing certain processes.
Stay up to date on our news,
developments and on the future of touch.
