Exploring the future of haptics:
WEART’s experience at AWE and VivaTech 2025

As pioneers in the development of advanced haptic solutions, we at WEART have always believed in the power of touch to transform digital experiences. This year, we had the opportunity to showcase our latest innovation, the TouchDIVER Pro – the only glove on the market providing full haptic feedback (thermal, texture, and force feedback) – at two major events: AWE USA, a reference point for immersive technologies, and Viva Technology, one of Europe’s largest gatherings for emerging tech. Both fairs offered invaluable insights, and while the audiences were different, one thing was clear: the future of AR and VR is becoming increasingly tangible.

AWE: consolidation and recognition

Having participated in AWE in the past, this year’s edition confirmed a key shift: in the B2B world, VR and haptics are no longer perceived as futuristic experiments but as reliable, integrated solutions. Haptic technology is now seen as a mature and essential component in industries like training, robotics, and location-based entertainment (LBE).

The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive. The TouchDIVER Pro was widely appreciated, with many visitors recognizing it as a significant step forward from the previous G1 model. The improvements in comfort, precision and versatility fully met expectations. In a market where many competitors are still focused solely on tracking and  vibrations, our glove remains unique in delivering a complete, immersive tactile experience.

Viva Technology: innovation that stands out

Attending VivaTech for the first time was a refreshing experience. While VR is still gaining ground in many industries, the TouchDIVER Pro immediately captured attention as one of the most innovative solutions at the fair. Visitors, especially from the industrial and medical training sectors, were impressed by how our glove can make virtual interactions feel real.

Many companies we met are still in the early stages of integrating VR into their workflows, but they quickly understood the potential of adding full haptic feedback. For those already familiar with VR, it was clear that a glove like the TouchDIVER Pro, going beyond tracking to deliver thermal, textural, and force feedback, represents a true game-changer.

A step towards tangible virtuality

Both fairs confirmed that the market is ready for haptics that go beyond simple interaction.

At AWE, we saw a mature ecosystem where haptic solutions like ours are becoming essential tools, while Viva Technology demonstrated how powerful haptic feedback can spark excitement and inspire industries still discovering VR’s potential.
With the TouchDIVER Pro, WEART continues to lead the way in creating more realistic, immersive experiences that bring the virtual world closer to our sense of touch, making it not just visible, but truly tangible.
